There will be a release, turn button or other device built into the door furniture to allow access in the event of an emergency.

Tail bar not cut to correct length or turn snib misaligned on door.
Changing the handing on the plate moves the hex nuts to the wrong side of the door. The furniture fixing will not clutch when fitting and will clutch when loosening.
The clearance on the narrow stile will not allow some levers to function.
