Lockwood 530 Cylinder Short Bible Height

We would like to inform you that the shorter height version of the Lockwood 530 Key In Knob cylinder will no longer be available due to a design change.

Knob cylinder will no longer be available due to a design change. This change was made to allow the use of common top pin lengths in all chambers for easier re-keying, but resulted in using a slightly taller extrusion.

The updated version is not compatible with door hardware offered prior to 2009 due to the increased bible height. We recommend keeping this fact in mind when quoting jobs where older 530 cylinders are used, since re-pinning will be required for shorter cylinders.

The 530 Key In Knob cylinder is currently used in the Lockwood 530 Series Key In Knob Locksets and the 930/950 Series Key In Lever Locksets. It is also used in the Lockwood 301 padlock.
