For residential and architectural customers looking for a contemporary styled deadlatch to combine with entrance handles, this new Latching Paradigm 005 is an elegant security solution. Designed in Australia, the Lockwood Latching Paradigm 005 Double Cylinder Round Deadlatch is now available.
Conforming to the security and durability requirements of Australian Standard AS4145.2-2008, the latching 005 can be special keyed and has a patented safety release that minimises the risk of being locked in. It’s features include LockAlert with three modes of operation (Safety, Secure and Hold-Back). The hold-back mode keeps the latch locked in the retracted position when required. The Latching Paradigm 005 comes in 3 different finishes - Satin Chrome, Chrome Plate and Matt black. It can be retrofitted into 54mm diameter hole with 60mm backset and can therefore be used to replace existing deadbolts in the door. The Latching Paradigm 005 is suitable for a 32-48mm door thickness range.
