Lockwood MTL^™800 platform is designed for premium protection, flexibility, and convenience with customers' needs in any industry in mind. MTL^™800 platform is patent protected until 2039 in Australia and existing MT5+ systems can be easily migrated to MTL^™800. The patented platform provides high level of protection by combining protective elements to create a triple locking mechanism, superior key control, and extensive master-keying capabilities.

What is MTL^™800?

Lockwood MTL^™800 provides protection against illegal key duplication via the following features.

Double alpha spring
The unique moving elements on the key blade's tip that engages with the unique pins (inner and outer pins), creating an additional shearline.

Telescopic pin
Based on Mul-T-Lock's proven telescopic pinning technology.

Locking bar
The locking bar mechanism is the third technology featured in the MTL^™800 cylinder. Correct alignment of the locking bar pins depends upon the correct combination key being inserted into the cylinder. The milled pattern which runs along the length of the key interacts with the top bar horizontal pins, creating the required shear line.
