As part of our ongoing strategy, we review our expired systems, including Status 6 for example which has been out of patent and design registration protection for decades. Our goal is to improve our overall restricted keying offer, and the efficiency of our manufacturing in Australia.
Considering this we are currently transitioning our Status 6 Key design to a common design also used by A-F suite of profiles.
The change will be rolling, and once stock of the existing Status 6 key blanks are depleted this design will no longer be available.
Those with custom coining dies can apply for a new die at a heavily discounted price as needed.
We will continue to review opportunities to rationalise expired systems to maximise efficiency. At the same time we will continue to support a wide range of contemporary restricted keying systems with full term patent protection, modern security features and peerless quality that will better serve the needs of your customers who require entry, mid and high security mechanical restricted keying systems.
