Keyed-Alike Euro Cylinder Upgrade for Fixed Doors on French and Bifold Doors
For use on the 'fixed' or 'passive' door on French Doors and Bifold Doors, the biggest new feature of the Lockwood Twin Bolt Lock is the capability to use a Euro Cylinder. By far the biggest upgrade over the current Twin Bolt Locks, it is more robust and allows greater customization of keying, giving customers the control to have keyed-alike or other options. 

Simplified Installation and Enhanced Durability
Further improvements over the current range include increased handle and escutcheon robustness by including upgraded mounting holes for better screw engagement. That also makes installation easier, as do installtion indicators cast directly into the lockbody, and longer packers that better hold the lock. Installers will find this lock faster and easier to install, making it more secure too!

Enhanced Security with the cam-over design
The new Lockwood Twin Bolt Lock with Euro Cylinder also includes the best feature of the current range, the cam-over design that prevents the shoot bolts from being reverse-driven even when the cylinder isn’t deadlocked.  A very unique feature, it offers superior security and piece of mind that even when unlocked, the lock is still prevents attacks to the top and bottom of the door. 

The new Twin Bolt Lock comes standard with 18mm shoot bolt throw and can be configured in dozens of options, including locking and non-locking options for use in different applications (eg- French Door vs Bi-Fold Doors), can be purchased with or without various handle and furniture options, in a wide range of colours, and also can be purchased with Securiturn, another feature opened up by the use of Euro Cylinder.

And, of course, the lock is retrofittable to older installations and may be used as a replacement to its predecessor.
